I'm Syah — founder of Sutera Hijau Academy, a technology studio based in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. Since 2017, I've been building products for education, community finance, and Islamic content — quietly, intentionally, and with real users in mind.
I created Nurflix to bring the stories of the Prophets and Companions to a new generation — reaching 40,000 viewers and 50,000 followers. Then Nurcast, exploring the Quran through podcast. The costs were real, but the lessons were worth more. Now I'm rebuilding smarter, powered by AI.
Today I run ORCA — an AI operations layer that builds, deploys, and operates software systems. With it, I've shipped products across education, fintech, and content delivery. One person. Real impact.
What this blog is about
Every day, an AI agent crawls curated sources across seven categories — technology, business, current affairs, science, Islamic civilisation, history, and the human mind. It finds what matters, and I write about it with depth, critical thinking, and a perspective shaped by building real things.
This isn't a neutral space. I believe technology should serve people, not extract from them. I believe clarity of purpose beats scale. And I believe the generation described in Surah Al-Fath — committed, principled, unshakeable — is the model worth following.
